HDD Images work but you have to make them somewhere else, start with a blank 256MB image as this doesn't take any special parameters to get working. This seems to work for me but doesn't work for other people that have tested it. The real kicker seems to be when using CD audio, the streaming I guess takes up too much 68k time, so try to use midi or adlib music when possible. Magic Carpet 2 someone reported runs ok at about 12000 cycles with a little sound stutter.ĭOS/4GW applications are far slower than non DOS/4GW applications. It does work but sound skips unless cycles are about 3000 or so, which then the CPU is so slow that it's not useful for much of anything.

Put them in a directory and adjust the last few lines of nf to point to your PC games directory. overlay is in there too but it's just SW surface, mostly. Will look for timidity.cfg in env: and devs:amidi. This version has Timidity support, which seems to work with the Gravis Ultrasound Playmidi program. Otherwise mouse and window handling works much better. Otherwise it will fall back to surface.ĭosbox_crcr2 uses the most recent Aminet release of libSDL but the mouse pointer has a small dot on it. output=openglnb should work if you have a Warp3D enabled card. Maybe adjusting mouse sensitivity could help. Ragnarok turn DisSigBouce on.ĭosbox_gln5 uses an a buggy old MiniGL enabled version of libSDL, mouse handling is not good in fullscreen, but is ok in a window. Works on Rapture G4 though, but DisSigBounce must be turned off which is a pretty big performance hit. The game is working fine out side of RLUI.So here's some stuff to try, they work ok on Ragnarok, other stuff not so much. nothing else needs to be set, not in global emulator or anything, the more you mess with the settings in RL now before it`s actually working, the harder it will be to fix. Once it does work, RL should only be given the. Also make sure it is where the imgmount line says it is.

Or possibly you moved or renamed the iso file. Perhaps you installed the game to the default "c:\intrplay\stonkeep\" make sure it points to the installed directory and that sk.exe is in that directory. Stay out of RL until you have the game fully loading and playing from windows!!!! Cannot stress this enough! If this does not load the game:
mccorkled, you keep posting HS-RL`s error messages. All of them should work too but not at the same time! It may be confusing the poor guy. LOL, everyone has their own way loading these games. I tried this and it is still trying to mount the conf folder. Imgmount d "Z:\Hyperspin\Emulators\Microsoft MS-DOS\ROMS\Stonekeep\Stonkeep.iso" -t isoĭouble click in explorer and tell me if that works Try this in the config but correct any paths at the bottom:
This what a typical dosbox config looks like.
